Privacy notice

Dark Mattr SAS operates The Domination Club and decides how your personal data is used. You can reach us at info@darkmattr.co, or by post at 494 Rue Leon Blum, 34000 Montpellier, France.

Only what running the courses requires:

• Your email address and name. Your email comes from the person who invited you; your name comes from your Google account when you first sign in.
• Which courses you have been given access to, when access was granted, and when it expires if it does.
• Your progress, in detail. Which lessons you have marked complete, which action items you have ticked, when you last opened a lesson, how far through each video you have watched and how long you spent watching it, which files you have downloaded, and which links you have followed.
• A record of actions taken on your account — access granted or removed, lessons completed — so we can answer questions about it later.
• Your IP address and browser, when you open a lesson. We use this to notice when one account is being used by several people at once. It is not used to locate you, and it is not shared with anyone.

We do not collect payment details here, we do not run advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not build a profile of you for marketing.

We process this data to give you the courses you or your employer paid for — that is, to perform our contract with you. Keeping a record of access changes is our legitimate interest in being able to resolve disputes about who had access to what, and when.

Recording how far you get through each lesson serves the same contract: it is what lets the site pick up where you left off, release the next lesson at the right moment, and show us which material people get stuck on so we can fix it. It is not used to profile you or to sell you anything, and it is never shared.

Recording the address you connect from is our legitimate interest in protecting material you paid for from being handed around. If that record suggests an account is being shared, a person reviews it before anything happens — nothing about your access changes automatically, and you can ask us why at any time.

We use three suppliers to run the site. They process data on our instructions only.

• Supabase — stores the database and handles sign-in. Data is held in the EU (Frankfurt).
• Vercel — hosts and serves the website.
• Google — verifies your identity when you press “Continue with Google”. Google tells us your email address, name and profile picture. We never see your Google password.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Course videos are not stored on this site. They are embedded from services such as Loom, YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive or Wistia. When a lesson page loads a video, that provider can see that a video was played and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy rather than this one.

One cookie, to keep you signed in. It is set when you sign in and cleared when you sign out. There are no advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Your account and progress are kept while you have access to at least one course, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that access can be restored if you come back. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, unless we are required to keep a record for accounting or legal reasons.

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to info@darkmattr.co and we will respond within one month. If you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, or to the equivalent authority in your own country.

The Domination Club is for adults. We do not knowingly give access to anyone under 16. If you believe a child has an account, tell us and we will remove it.

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you directly.
